The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) uses SIGMA SSPO testing as part of their recruitment process! This is information that is not widely known. All of our OPP clients have confirmed this for years. After candidates successfully pass the interview stage, they are required to complete the SIGMA Survey for Police Officers (SSPO). This crucial step evaluates cognitive abilities, situational judgment, and English language proficiency, ensuring that prospective officers possess the essential skills required for effective policing.
If you already have your OACP Certificate, you do not have to re-write the SIGMA SSPO testing. But you still will have to write your psych testing and pass your language test. We prepare candidates for all stages of their interviews, testing, and psych.
